This career advising session will feature a speaker from the Office of Career Services, along with the Chair of Linguistics. This will be a presentation oriented specifically to graduate students not intending to pursue academic career tracks. Career Services will lead off, and one or more faculty from Linguistics will supplement the discussion. We expect the presentations and ensuing discussion to last from 4-5:30.
If you are in the MA TESOL track, we assume that you are getting individualized advice and guidance specific to that program, so we will not discuss MA TESOL career paths, although we will talk more generally about opportunities in English teaching for those not in the TESOL program.
