CU Boulder Linguistics congratulates our colleague, Dr. Raichle Farrelly, for her nomination to the slate of candidates for the upcoming Board of Directors election for the TESOL International Association. This is a prestigious honor, recognizing Rai's excellent scholarship, as well as her leadership in English language teaching and learning. Dr. Laura Michaelis, chair of Linguistics, says this about Rai: “Dr. Farrelly is not just a gifted teacher of TESOL theory and practice; she is also an academic leader, improving the way Linguistics assesses teaching quality; an educational innovator who helps our students thrive-- from creating classroom communities to leading education abroad experiences--and an advocate for the use of TESOL as an instrument of social justice and solidarity at CU, in CO and around the world.”
