Step 1: Materials that can be withdrawn without a list

Fiche

If you’re discarding a significant run, send a courtesy message to cogopub-l@lists.colorado.edu. Someone else may want your run.

CD-ROMs

Send CD-ROMs with the following SuDocs stems to CU Boulder:  C3, I, EP, NAS, or items with the words “Colorado” in the title to the attention Leanne Walther via courier or US Mail. The rest can be discarded. If you’re discarding a significant number with SuDocs stems other than the ones mentioned above, send a courtesy message to cogopub-l@lists.colorado.edu.

Step 2: Stems/Series to Withdraw Without Listing

Go to the Series/Stems that don't need to be listed page and follow the instructions.

Step 3: Are You Withdrawing Hearings?

Check CU Boulder’s collection, using Chinook Classic. If you don’t find a record or the record does not say "available", send the hearing to CU Boulder.

Is the Committee on the Collection Matrix?

If the answer is no, you may withdraw the remaining hearings

If the answer is yes, contact Leanne Walther with the stem, approximate number of items/shelves and the date range. You may have to create a list. For instructions on creating a list, see the Creating Offers Lists page.

Step 4: Anything Left?

If you still have material left contact Leanne Walther with the stems you want to withdraw, the approximate number of items/shelves and the date range. She will determine if you need to create a list.
