Learn more about librarianship as a career. Become an Undergraduate Student Fellow in the University Libraries.

About the Fellowship

The Undergraduate Student Fellowship introduces students to careers in academic librarianship, a challenging and rewarding field that covers collection management, reference, instruction and outreach, access and discovery, and much more. The Fellowship is a 90-hour program over the course of either the fall or spring semester and provides a $1500 stipend. Before applying, potential Fellows must identify a library staff or faculty member that is able to provide the mentorship experience. Students are encouraged to reach out to library staff or faculty that they have worked with in the past or have an area of focus that interests them.

For any questions or assistance finding a library mentor in an area that interests you, email Sean Babbs.
