Alicia joined the University Libraries in 2019 as a Council on Libraries and Information Resources (CLIR) Postdoctoral Fellow in geospatial data services. She earned a PhD in Geography from the University of California, Berkeley in 2014. From 2015 to 2019, she was the Cartography Lecturer and Staff Cartographer in the Geography Department at UC Berkeley, where she designed and edited maps and taught mapmaking methodology courses. In the CU Boulder Libraries, Alicia is supporting geospatial research across disciplines by teaching workshops and courses, developing educational resources, and providing consultations to faculty, staff, and students.
