Libraries student employees can now apply for the Laughing Goat Endowed Scholarship

The University Libraries are pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for the Laughing Goat Endowed Scholarship. The scholarship is open to current and former (from September 2021 - present) University Libraries’ student employees, interns or Fellows.

A total of $7,000 will be awarded for the 2022-23 academic year. The number of scholarships will be based on the amount of applicants and the strength of their application materials.

Students are encouraged to work on application materials with their current or former supervisor.

Applications are due by Sunday, November 27, 2022. Recipients will be announced in December 2022 and awards will be distributed for the Spring 2023 semester.

The University Libraries appreciate support received through the Laughing Goat Endowed Library Award Fund to offer student scholarships and fellowships.

Eligibility Requirements:

Applicants must be a student employed by the Libraries currently or within the last 12 months (September 2021 - present).
Applicants must be current students at the University of Colorado Boulder.
Students completing the Undergraduate Student Fellowship or the Provost’s Fellowship are eligible to apply if they are current CU Boulder students.
Applicants must provide their Student ID in their application.
In the occurrence of receiving a monetary award, applicants must agree to write a thank you note to the donor and agree to share their names, likeness and biographies through internal and external communications.
