National Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated each year between September 15 and October 15.

Enacted into law in 1988, this Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates the achievements, contributions, and heritage of Hispanic and Latino Americans with roots in Latin American countries. Additionally, these dates mark the anniversaries of Independence for several Latin American countries: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, and Belize.
