Did you know that as a CU Boulder student, staff or faculty member, you have access to the University Libraries’ vast collection of tech products?

Through the Multimedia Equipment Lending Library (MELL)’s online reservation system, anyone with a valid Buff OneCard regardless of campus department affiliation can borrow DSLR and digital cameras, audio recorders and mixers, and related accessories.

This fall, the Libraries are excited to share new additions to the collection, including a USB microphone, a LED ring light, a GoPro and more.

“We are excited to meet users' needs by purchasing new equipment that has been frequently requested over the last few years,” Stacy Gilbert, social sciences librarian said. “Providing access to audio-video equipment supports the Libraries' strategic direction of helping people create knowledge.”

Equipment available through the MELL collection is both high-quality and suitable for first-time users. Instruction manuals for how-to-use each item are available on the Libraries’ catalog item listing.

Multimedia equipment checks out for 72 hours and you can borrow up to five items at once.

Users can pick up and return items at the Norlin Library East Service desk during regular library hours. Please do not return MELL items to library drop boxes.
