Norlin Library will be closed on the weekend of September 17 and 18 to remove old cooling equipment on the roof of the building using a crane. The work will begin at 6 a.m. on September 17 and is expected to finish by the afternoon on September 18.
There will also be fencing on the sidewalk surrounding the building. Facilities Management made the decision to close Norlin and the sidewalk due to safety concerns while the equipment is being removed.
The libraries will be accessible online and librarians will be available via the Ask a Librarian instant messaging service both days from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
