The Student Libraries Advisory Board (SLAB) is looking for new members! SLAB student from spring 2018

What is SLAB?

SLAB is a group of CU Boulder students that work together to offer input on the Libraries’ spaces, services, and resources based on the student experience. In other words, we want YOU to have a say in the decisions the Libraries make.

Why should I apply?

Leadership and tangible work experience from SLAB will demonstrate to academic advisors and future employers commitment, drive, and a strong work ethic.

Not only do students have the opportunity to work directly with Libraries faculty and staff, your participation could also go a long way in influencing changes or improvements to our services and policies. In particular, we want to know:

  • What services would you like to see?

  • What would make the space more useful?

  • What resources can we add?Student reception for SLAB Spring 2019

SLAB is looking to assemble a governmental body, giving students more power to use their library voices. Students will also have the opportunity to complete an interdisciplinary research or creative project during the 2019-2020 academic year. Student members of SLAB determine the nature and scope of their project.

We’ll give you the inside scoop about the Libraries news, events, upgrades, changes and any other cool things on the horizon.

When would we meet?

We will discuss scheduling after the deadline to apply. That way, we can find a time that works best for everyone (we sincerely hope)!

We’re accepting applications, so please apply!

Please team up with SLAB! Together, we can make the libraries better.
