Open Education Week is a celebration of the global Open Education Movement. Its goal is to raise awareness about the movement and the impact of open educational resources (OER) on teaching and learning worldwide.

Faculty, students, and staff from universities and colleges throughout the state are holding events at their campuses. The celebration kicked off with the Colorado Open Scholars Summit, which was virtually hosted in Norlin Library. See the list of events below and follow the link for more information:

Monday: COLTT Keynote Watch Speaker: Rajiv Jhangiani on "Serving Access, Equity and Innovation through Open Education Practices" & OER Equity Discussion (join the discussion via the Zoom link at 10:30 a.m.)

Friday: Rocky & Rewarding: the Winding Paths of OER Initiatives: This highly interactive webinar takes you from the basics of OER to a Maryland case study of what worked and what didn't, and then includes a dynamic Q&A session with presenter Dr. MJ Bishop of the University of Maryland.
