ENVD 3115 students have constructed the second composition in their Stacked Brick Sculpture assignment, in the Gemmill Engineering, Math & Physics Library. This structure was built on Friday, September 14. Their design was meant to mirror the privacy reading pods that were once found in Norlin Library.
“We wanted a spiral pattern, but we also wanted to build off of the previous group’s design,” one group member said.
When asked what they think about this assignment, one group member responded, “this assignment is fun, we’d like to do this same assignment with different materials.”
A different group member also added, “I want to be a design/build architect, so this assignment is really applicable.”
