Hope that some of you had some time this break to hit the slopes! In January of 1938, George F. Dobbins was the University of Colorado's representative to the Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Union's first meeting, at which the groundwork for intercollegiate skiing competitions was established. The University of Colorado Ski Club was organized that same year. The University of Colorado Ski Club and Ski Team collection at the CU Boulder Archives holds the teams' records up to 1986.
