Before you start the process, visit the course page and write down the course code of the course(s) you wish to register for (LGTC ####).

Printable registration instructions (new students)

Step One: Apply to receive a CU Boulder student identification number 

  1. Visit the Continuing Education Enrollment page to apply for an ID number. 
  2. Choose Create an account and follow the steps to follow a new application and continue an application you started earlier. YOU DO NOT NEED TO SUBMIT UNOFFICIAL TEST SCORES.  
  3. When approved, you will receive a student identification number to activate your Identikey within 20 minutes. If you have not received it after that time, contact ceregistration@colorado.edu or 303-492-5148.

Step two: Activate your identikey 

Visit the CU Boulder identity manager page to activate your IdentiKey.

Step three: Register for courses

Go to MyCUInfo. It is the online campus portal. It gives you access to credit course enrollment, tuition bill, your final grades, and more.
1) Click on Register for classes. 
2) Search by Subject and Catalog Number. The subject is LGTC, the catalog number is the 4 digit number found after LGTC (5030, 5035, 5045, etc). You will find the subject and catalog number on the course page

Printable registrations instruction (returning students)

Step one: Locate your CU Boulder login credentials (identikey + password). You can reset your password on the CU Boulder identity manager page.

Step two: Activate your term. 

Step three: Register for courses

Go to MyCUInfo. It is the online campus portal. 

1) Click on Register for classes.

Step four: Check your CU email

Check your CU email on the Friday before the course starts.

  • 3 credit hour courses (10 weeks): Drops made by the end of the first week (Friday) get a full refund. Drops made after the one-week deadline and by the end of the second week (Friday) get a 60% refund and will result in a W grade posted on the transcript. Drops made after the 2-week deadline (Friday) will result in a W grade posted on the transcript, and full tuition and fees will be assessed.

  • 2 credit and 1 credit hour courses (8 or 6 weeks): Drops made by the end of the first week (Friday) get a full refund. Drops made after the first week will result in a W grade posted on the transcript, and full tuition and fees will be assessed.

Drop and withdraw requests must be emailed to the Program Director.
