Does your use of technology have an impact on your students' proficiency? Through discussions, readings, lesson planning and a research project, you will learn to leverage technology to engage and motivate students to learn the target language. We'll discuss the SAMR model; we'll practice building lesson plans around tools such as Flipgrid; we'll discuss differentiation and ADA compliance as well as copyrights laws.

Are the games you play in your classroom time-fillers or valuable language learning experiences? Join this course and learn to exploit the learning potential of games. No gaming experience required.

Telecollaboration Exchange for Language Learning

6 week course (1cr):
July 6 to Aug 17, 2019 ($495)

The goal of this course is to allow you to work on your own language proficiency. You will meet twice a week for 30 minutes with a language partner via video conferencing and write short reflections.You will discuss short articles.
