Coursera/ University of Colorado Boulder MOOC Blended Language Learning: Design and Practice for Teachers 

A MOOC is a Massive Open Online Course. You may audit this course for free, or purchase a certificate of completion from Coursera, and /or receive 1.5 Graduate Teacher Education credits (GRTE). This course is aligned with the ACTFL standards. It is composed of 5 self-paced modules: 

Module 1: Blended Language Learning: Definitions, Benefits, Challenges, and Effectiveness
Module 2: Building a Blended Language Course (Course Level Considerations)
Module 3: Building a Blended Learning Course (Unit Level Considerations)
Module 4: Teaching Strategies
Module 5: Peer-reviewed Assignment (optional unless you wish to obtain GRTE credits)

Note: GRTE: Credits earned for GRTE courses are not applicable toward a degree program offered at the University of Colorado Boulder but may be used for teacher professional enhancement, including relicensure and school district salary advancement.
