The certificate is built with flexibility in mind. Start this spring and complete the certificate at your own pace. You may also just take one or two courses based on your PD needs and interests. 

Study map 1: Graduate by summer 2019

This two-semester option is an accelerated study map for highly motivated teachers who have plenty of time to dedicate to the courses:  
 

  • Spring 2019 (5 cr): LGTC 5030-2 (2cr, req), LGTC 5045 (1cr) and LGTC 5040 (2cr)
  • Summer 2019 (7cr): LGTC 5020 (3cr, req), LGTC 5010 (2cr) and LGTC 5032 (2cr)
     

Study map 2: Graduate by fall 2019

This three-semester option is a typical study map for full-time teachers: 
 

  • Spring 2019 (4 cr): LGTC 5030-2 (2cr, req) and LGTC 5040 (2cr)
  • Summer 2019 (5cr): LGTC 5020 (3cr, req), LGTC 5010 (2cr) or LGTC 5032 (2cr)
  • Fall 2019 (3cr): LGTC 5045 (1cr) and LGTC 5035 (2cr) or LGTC 5030-1
     

Study map 3: Graduate by spring 2020

This four-semester option is a good fit for teachers with heavy schedules:
 

  • Spring 2019 (3 cr): LGTC 5040 (2cr) and LGTC 5045 (1cr)
  • Summer 2019 (5cr): LGTC 5020 (3cr, req), LGTC 5010 (2cr) or LGTC 5032 (2cr)
  • Fall 2019 (2cr): LGTC 5030-1 (2cr, req)
  • Spring 2020 (2cr): LGTC 5040 (2cr) 
     

Note that there several other possible configurations as long as remember to:

  • complete the two required courses (LGTC 5030 and LGTC 5020).
  • complete the 12 credits in three years maximum.
