Bailey Troutman

Bailey Troutman (Ph.D. student, Media Studies) is interested in the intersections between the security, environment, energy, technology, and policy. She enjoys contextualizing the mundane phenomenon of everyday life and wants to connect with audiences beyond the academic sphere through various platforms/mediums. Prior to attending CU Boulder, she earned her M.A. in Communication, Technology, and Society from Clemson University and a B.S. in Communication Arts from Indiana University at the Kokomo campus. At CU Boulder, Bailey also serves as an Officer for the CU Energy Club, works on a cybersecurity and AI grant with Information Science, and produces MEDLab's monthly radio show, Looks Like New.
