Research interests: climate change, conservation biology, disease ecology, and parasitology

Hello! I’m going into my senior year at the University of Colorado Boulder and I’m double majoring in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology and Environmental Studies. I am very interested between the intersection of ecology and the environment in various contexts such as disease ecology but also issues of things like drought, wildfires, and biodiversity loss that are exasperated by climate change.

With the Johnson Lab I had the opportunity to work under a UROP grant last summer as a research technician and this summer I am working under an REU grant. My project I looking at sediment cores from various sites and seeing presence or absence of trematode eggs and the implications of this new information for cycles of parasite transmission. When I’m not in the lab I love to snowboard, cook, play water polo, and hang out with my friends.
