Research interests: parasitology, paleobiology, human evolution

Hi! I am a fourth year undergraduate student at the University of Colorado Boulder, majoring in Ecological and Evolutionary Biology. I also am pursuing a minor in geology as well as another in anthropology. I am very interested in disease ecology and hope to do research in parasitology relating to human causation later in my career. After graduating from undergrad, I plan on attending graduate school to receive my doctorate degree with a focus in anthropogenic change and disease ecology. Through the Johnson lab I have been able to learn more about parasitism and its ecological impacts, niches, and pathways. I have also gained great lab experience and trainings for working with live lab with animals, which I hope to utilize to further my career. While not in the lab I enjoy watching TV, exercising, cooking, and spending time with my friends!
