Carly Sless, originally from Margate, New Jersey, is a major in Sociology and a double minor in Jewish Studies and Hebrew & Israel Studies at CU Boulder. Carly was originally interested in the Program in Jewish Studies minors because she wanted to expand her knowledge of Judaism. In addition to being a youth advisor at Bonai Shalom in Boulder, Carly has worked at Camp Ramah in the Rockies for the past three summers.
Carly plans to attend law school after her graduation to become a criminal prosecutor. She also has an interest in working for a Jewish nonprofit. Carly joined the Jewish Studies Undergraduate Student Advisory Board to broaden her involvement in Jewish groups on campus and expand her ideas and views by meeting others. She is also currently involved with SAEPI, Hillel, Chabad, and CU-BIPAC. "There's a lot of different opportunities through the department," Carly says, "They are always more than willing to help you out in anyway possible."
