Required Materials for Complete Application 


You may learn more about the GRE, including exam dates and locations, from the Educational Testing Service. You will be required to connect your GRE exam results to your Online Application via the college codes noted below. The University of Colorado Boulder college code for the following:
 
  • GRE test: 4841
  • TOEFL test: 4841
  • GMAT: 11S-MH-08
Note:
  • The exam test date must be no older than five years prior to your application term. 

 

Include the following details:​​

  • Describe your interest in pursuing an interdisciplinary telecom degree;
  • Indicate your first preference track and why this track interests you;
  • Include your educational aspirations; and
  • Include any other information you think might be of interest to the admissions committee.

Note: PhD study is only available on-campus.

Recommendations should accurately reflect your academic aptitude, work ethic, knowledge and character.
 
  • If you have recently earned your undergraduate degree, it is expected that the majority of the recommendations will be obtained from members of the academic community.

  • If you have been in the workforce for a while, letters of recommendation from current and former employers are suitable.

  • Recommendations must be submitted via the online application system.

  •  Unofficial transcripts must be submitted from each institution, regardless of the length of attendance, and whether or not courses were completed.  This includes:

    • Extension programs
    • Summer sessions
    • Community colleges
  • ​​If you have earned a Bachelor's or Master's degree, include a copy of your degree certificate (international students only).
     
  • ONLY after you have been admitted to ITP will you be required to provide official transcripts and degree certificate(s). 

  • CU admissions professionals will evaluate your non-US academic work after your transcripts have been received. 
    • You do not need to take any action on this requirement.
    • You do not need to have a third-party credential evaluator to review your transcripts.
    • You do not need to convert to a US GPA.

 

  • Payable online at the time you submit your application or by check or money order (made payable to the University of Colorado) after you submit your application.
  • If submitting a check or money order, include your full legal name and date of birth.
