On Saturday, April 15, 2017, ITP students spent a day creating and designing unique and functional coding projects that used both physical and virtual Cisco networking equipment. Students were mentored during the event by engineers from Cisco’s Meraki and DevNet teams. Throughout the day, students came up with projects including multi factor authentication for WiFi, WiFi management visualization and a speech to text to network configuration tool.  Cisco made the event competitive and fun with lots of giveaways, including Cisco Meraki gear.  Congratulations to all the student teams for their creativity and skill!

Thanks again to all of the engineers and managment support from Cisco who helped make this event a huge success.

Also to our Adjunct Instructor Jeff Demaio, from Cisco, and ITP Faculty Joe McManus (Network Security) and Dr. Levi Perigo (Network Engineering), for making this event happen!
