On Saturday, February 11, 2017, CU students spent the day designing network based games and performing cyber analysis skills with Applied Trust.

The first ITP hackathon of 2017 was a combination of coding, network engineering and cyber security. The challenge for the students was to create an online game using a RaspberryPi that had to allow for play over the network while being secure. After 7 hours of coding the students then had to attack and defend their platforms for additional points in the competition.

Applied Trust(AT) a Security and Dev Ops firm headquartered in Boulder, CO sponsored the hackathon. AT brought engineers to help with the student projects and created challenges throughout the day for students to compete on. A great time was had by all who attended.

Thanks to Applied Trust for helping make this a great day!
