CU Electronic Mail

We at ISSS strongly encourage all international students and scholars to use and to regularly check their "colorado.edu" email account, since University policy states that students are expected to check their official email address frequently in order to stay current with University communications. All students are eligible for the free email account through CU. Visiting scholars need to talk to their department about obtaining an @colorado.edu email address. To set it up, follow the instructions on CU Connect; if you have any questions, please contact the Telecommunications Help Desk.

ISSS News

ISSS News is the e-newsletter produced by ISSS on a monthly basis throughout the year. ISSS uses this e-newsletter to communicate important information about events, scholarships for international students, and changes in immigration laws and practices to all international students on campus. ISSS expects you to read and be responsible for the content. We understand that you are busy, so the newsletter is concise and organized so that the most critical information comes first. If you don't have time to read all of it, a quick look through every week should tell you if you need to read in more detail. You will automatically be enrolled for this newsletter with your @colorado.edu email address (for students and faculty/staff) or your local email address (for visiting scholar affiliates).

Previous issues of ISSS News are archived on our News & Alerts page.

CU's Alert System

It is recommended that you sign up for the University of Colorado’s alert system to receive email and/or text message alerts about potential emergencies or weather closings on campus.
