Every fall and spring semester, ISSS administers grants for students in F-1 and J-1 status with unexpected financial difficulty or emergencies.
Please carefully review the ISSS Financial Support website for a list of the eligibility requirements. If you are experiencing an unexpected financial emergency and meet all of the eligibility requirements, ISSS encourages you to apply for the ISSS Emergency Financial Grant.
Grants vary according to available funds and demonstrated need. Unfortunately due to limited resources, not all applicants will receive a grant. Additional funding cannot be awarded for ongoing financial situations that have previously received ISSS Emergency Grant funding.
