2018 Ground School2018 Initial Ground School Classes for Individuals Seeking Certification to Fly Drones Under the Approval of the University of Colorado Boulder

These classes are designed for individuals seeking to fly unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) under the authority granted to UCB by the FAA. These classes designed for UCB students, faculty and staff who need to operate UAS as part of the work, studies or research. Each class is comprised of two four hour sessions on different days, or one eight-hour day, with a lunch break. In addition to this ground school, flight training must be completed before being authorized to fly under this program. All students must register at least one week prior to the class.
