Angie is the IPHY department’s Executive Manager and manages policies and practices related to department program and operations. She provides high level budgetary, financial, policy, and programmatic support to the department, supervises the staff and serves as advisor to the Chair. Angie supports long-term strategic projects, and analyze operational needs through planning and assessment.
Angie has nearly 10 years of experience in higher education, with roles previously in New Student Orientation, Academic Advising, and the Office of the Registrar. Angie is originally from Santa Cruz, CA and has been at CU Boulder for 4 years. When Angie is not in the office, you can find her hiking the mountains, cooking a new recipe, reading a nerdy book, or playing video games. Angie is dedicated to supporting students, staff, and faculty, and is passionate about working to transform educational policies and practices in order to make education more accessible, equitable, and socially just. Angie holds a B.A. in Anthropology and Art History from UCLA, and an M.A. in Educational Foundations, Policy, and Practice from CU Boulder.
