The PiCS monthly meeting aims to foster scientific discourse and collaboration among faculty and postdoctoral researchers in the form of scientific discussion, proposal reviews, and oral presentations. These meetings will provide a unique opportunity for each of us to learn about the innovative research programs within IPHY, and importantly will provide a venue for discussions that will help move our research forward. One goal of PICS is to facilitate the development of new, exciting, and competitive ideas that will translate into future grant applications and funded research projects. Although these discussions will be particularly helpful for postdocs and junior faculty, we intend them to be relevant and useful for established faculty as well.
