My research interests include the consequences of abrupt permafrost thaw (ecological & social) and monitoring carbon cycling in thawing permafrost ecosystems from small-scale microbial activity up to regional scale fluxes. I enjoy using a combination of field techniques and GIS skills to address these questions.
