Michael is working towards his Ph.D. in computer science with a research focus on computer science education. Michael belongs to two different research groups here at CU.
The first is with his adviser Tammy Sumner at the Institute of Cognitive Science where he is studying STEM + C curriculum initiatives in the Denver City School system. With the second research group, the Craft Tech Lab with Ann Eisenberg, he is researching how to create debugger tools for novice e-textile programmers, with a focus on the usability needs of high school/undergraduate programmers.
