Photos from Frank Witmer and John O'Loughlin's trip to Bosnia, May 2006. These photos were taken with the purpose of collecting ground reference data for assessing the accuracy of a Landsat classification of abandoned agricultural land. As such, they are primarily of active and abandoned agricultural land in northeast Bosnia. Our research also brought us to Sarajevo for interviews with agricultural and minefield experts.
