Data used to analyze violence in the North Caucasus of Russia are available for download here. These data are formatted as point and polygon shapefiles projected in the UTM coordinate system, zone 38N. For additional metadata for the below shapefiles, see CaucMetaData.txt. Please accompany any published use of these data with the appropriate citation.

     

 

The disaggregated violent event data for the North Caucasus of Russia are available as a point shapefile. These data were used in both of the papers mentioned below.
