CU Psychology and Neuroscience recently defended graduate student Sam Dolzani (Behavioral Neuroscience), mentored by Distinguished Professor Steve Maier and Senior Research Associate Mike Baratta, was in the popular press because of a publication in the journal eNeuro. This research demonstrated that a low dose of ketamine given to female rats diminished the anxiety-like effects of a stressor a week later.
