Doug Snyder received his Ph.D. in History from the University of Colorado Boulder. He specializes in the history of U.S. foreign policy, particularly during the Cold War era. As a graduate student, he served as an Assistant Editor for the academic journal Diplomatic History. In addition to teaching in Internationals Affairs, he teaches courses for the Global Studies RAP and is a faculty-in-residence within Baker RAP. In fall 2018, Dr. Snyder was appointed as the International Affairs Honors Program Director.
