Dr. Conzelman earned her Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology at the University of Colorado. She has taught a wide variety of natural history and anthropology courses, and led service learning programs in communities around the world. She teaches for Global Studies, Sustainability, Sewall, and Honors RAPs (Residential Academic Programs) on a variety of topics grounded in Anthropology and International Affairs, most notably The Andes, Globalization, Culture and Power, Democracy, Drug Policy, Immigration, and Community Engagement. In the summer, she directs the Global Seminar: Democracy and Development in Bolivia.

For International Affairs, she teaches IAFS 3000-001 Special Topics: Global and Local Engagement in International Affairs.
