Written Communication; 2 courses are required to fulfill this Arts & Sciences core requirement, one lower division and one upper division:
h - WRTG 1250: Advanced 1st-Year Writing & Rhetoric
Students may meet the the lower division component of this requirement (may pass out of this requirement) if:
- received AP exam score of 3 in English Lang & Comp which provides lower division Arts and Sciences credit or
- received AP exam score of 4 in English Lang & Comp which provides 3 semester hours equivalent to WRTG 1150 or
- received AP exam score of 5 in English Lang and Comp which provides 3 semester hours equivalent to WRTG 1250 or
- received IB score of 4 for Standard or Higher Exam in English A: Language & Literature which provides lower division Arts & Sciences credit
- fyi, enrollment in WRTG 1250 may be taken to fulfill elective credit
i - WRTG 3020: Topics in Writing: Travel Writing
- Prerequisite: credit for WRTG 1100, 1150 or WRTG 1250, or AP credit (see h) or IB credit (see h) to be eligible to enroll in WRTG 3020.
