First year students who are honors-qualified, as well as some returning Honors students, are eligibile to live in Smith Hall.
RAP Fee Scholarship Funding
A limited number of scholarships are available for students who demonstrate financial need and/or who contribute to a diverse and inclusive community in the Honors RAP. Students who wish to be considered for a RAP fee scholarship must contact the Honors RAP by email at email@example.com.
How to Apply
The Arts & Sciences Honors Residential Academic Program (RAP) is open to honors-qualified students. Incoming 1st-year honors-qualified students receive a Welcome Letter from the A&S Honors Program inviting them to participate in Honors. Being in the Arts & Sciences Honors Program qualifies you to join the A&S Honors RAP; a separate Honors RAP qualification is not required.
Honors-qualified students are not guaranteed a space in the Honors RAP, located in Smith Hall. Housing applications and assignments are a product of the Housing Office. Applications are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis, according to the date of the completed Housing application.
Once you confirm your attendance to CU Boulder, students must complete their online Housing application and identify the Arts & Sciences Honors RAP as your first choice of community and Smith Hall as your first choice of Residence Hall as early as possible to ensure your best chance for being assigned to our community.
- Please visit the Housing and Dining Services Housing Assignments page for general information on how to apply for on-campus housing.
- For questions about housing and the housing application process please contact Occupancy Management at 303-492-6673 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
- You will be notified by Housing (not the Honors RAP) of your housing placement.
Congratulations on your academic achievement and we look forward to seeing you in the Fall!
