Norlin buildingThe Honors Program in the College of Arts and Sciences provides special educational opportunities for academically prepared and highly motivated undergraduate students.

In Honors Program Courses (separate from Honors RAP courses) students forge lasting connections with exceptional faculty and peers. These courses are offerred for Honors-qualified students in any year of their education at the University.

The Honors Program also awards Latin Honors - cum laudemagna cum laude, or summa cum laude - to graduating seniors who have successfully written and defended honors theses.

The Honors Journal, an interdisciplinary, student-run publication presenting a collection of works from all academic fields represented on the CU-Boulder campus, is also sponsored by the Honors Program.

These Honors activies are separate from the Honors RAP, but we are all part of the larger Honors Department at the University of Colorado, Boulder.

While our home in the College of Arts and Sciences reflects our roots in the values and traditions of a liberal arts education, we welcome undergraduates from all colleges and schools on the CU-Boulder campus.

Please visit the Honors Program website for more information on Honors activities beyond the Honors RAP.
