In response to Covid-19...
All Arts & Sciences Honors-qualified students should review the Honors Course registration information on the Arts & Sciences Honors Program web page to self-enroll into an Honors Course for Fall 2020.
The RAPs have been suspended for AY2020-21 and therefore no RAP fees will be charged. However, every incoming student will have the opportunity to receive a First Year Academic Experience. If you have questions about your housing assignment, please see the Housing FAQ page or contact firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have questions about registration, please be on the lookout for future communications from the university as fall semester planning is still underway. The university is committed to ensuring that students can return to campus in a safe manner. We really appreciate your patience during this time and look forward to seeing you in the fall.
I was born in Bulgaria, where I grew up. After graduating from high school, I came to the United States to study in college. I got my bachelor’s degree in Math from Pomona College (2001), and Master’s (2005) and Ph.D. degrees (2009) in Math from CU-Boulder. I have taught Math at CU-Boulder most of the time since 2003 either as a Teaching Assistant (while still a graduate student) or as a lecturer (after getting my Ph.D.). I enjoy teaching very much. I also enjoy working on research. I am currently studying hypergeometric series, orthogonal polynomials, and their connections to evaluating combinatorial sums. I am very happy to talk to students about my research. I love living in Boulder. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking and exercising.
