The Division of Student Affairs welcomes applications for a Human Resources Program Manager. The HR Program Manager will report directly to the Student Affairs Human Resources Director (SAHR). With collaboration from SAHR Director, this position will recommend strategy on issues of hiring, staffing, unit reorganizations, and compensation while ensuring compliance with Division, university and state policies and procedures. The position will work closely with supervisors and unit liaisons across the Division of Student Affairs on their HR needs. They will be responsible for the management of all employee recruitment, selection and hiring process for all units within VCSA while working alongside the Department HR to support these functions Division wide. This position serves as the subject matter expert and liaison to CU Boulder HR on all position, recruitment, and employee-related services. Additionally, this position has oversight of the performance management function including all planning and appraisal processes for permanent classified and university staff employees. This includes working closely with the SAHR Director to roll out the new performance philosophy and performance management tool division wide. 

The HR Program Manager will also be responsible for working closely with the SAHR Director on special projects which will include research on optimal shared service models for HR functions for the division. This will include reviewing current HR processes across the division and then working collaboratively with the SAHR Director to create consistent division practices including employee handbooks, professional development programs, onboarding/orientation models, position updates, recruitments and compensation strategy.
