Three buckets that say 1-2-3To help employees better manage their many work, family, and personal responsibilities, the campus has partnered with Bright Horizons to give you access to the Bright Horizons Care Advantage program.  All University of Colorado Boulder faculty, staff and graduate students are eligible for this Bright Horizons Care Advantage membership.

Use Sittercity to find individual care and service providers

The Sittercity membership provides employees with access to a nationwide network of caregivers with profiles that include background checks, references, reviews, pictures and more. With Sittercity, you can:

  • Search the database for babysitters, nannies, special needs caregivers, companion caregivers, housekeepers or pet sitters
  • Post a job for a caregiver that will meet your specific family needs
  • Set up electronic payments through Surepayroll, a Sittercity partner

Tip: Looking to hire a CU student? Search the database by zip code and choose “show enrolled students” from the preset filters.

Visit the Sittercity portal to create an account. You will need to provide your university email address and employee or student ID number.

The program also includes center-based childcare perks

  • Preferred enrollment status at community-accepting Bright Horizons childcare centers.
  • Tuition discounts at participating partner centers nationwide. In addition, you will receive a registration fee credit in your enrollment in a participating center.

Search for participating centers on the Bright Horizons Care Advantages website.

Years Ahead helps you access elder care needs

The Years Ahead membership connects employees to a senior care solution that will help you understand and find the right level of care for aging loved ones. With Years Ahead, you can:

  • Take an elder care needs assessment
  • Learn about elder care options
  • Prepare for change and understand costs
  • Find eldercare services and facilities

Tip: Years Ahead is focused on providing resources and connecting users with care-based services and facilities. If you are looking for an individual to provide in-home elder care, use Sittercity.
