Portrait of Dave Clough

Professor David Clough of chemical and biological engineering is retiring this month after 42 years with the College of Engineering and Applied Science.

You might not know it, but Dave was part of the team that helped Herbst get started. He was associate dean for education when the program was first conceived and launched. Dave has always been wonderfully supportive of Herbst — and that really mattered in the early days, when few students had any idea of what to expect from this new program.

Thank you, Dave, and best wishes for a well-earned retirement!
