To comply with CU Boulder’s COVID-19 vaccine requirement, members of the campus community are required to have received the initial series of vaccine plus one booster, or file for an exemption.
Students, faculty and staff must upload proof of boosters or file for an exemption based on medical, ethical or moral grounds through the MyCUHealth portal. Individuals who previously submitted an exemption do not need to take further action at this time and will be considered in compliance with current university vaccine requirements.
There are two ways to complete the vaccine requirement:
All students must complete the COVID-19 vaccine requirement or exemption in the MyCUHealth portal. The only exception will be students vaccinated through CU Boulder Medical Services. Data from Medical Services will be uploaded to the portal on behalf of students vaccinated through Medical Services
Additional immunization requirements:
- Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) vaccine: Colorado State Law requires all students to submit proof of two (2) doses each of the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccination or proof of immunity (titers).
- Meningitis (Men-ACWY) vaccine: CU Boulder requires all students under the age of 23 living in university-operated housing to submit proof of the meningitis (Men-ACWY) vaccine given within the last five years and given after their sixteenth (16th) birthday. The meningitis (Men-ACWY) vaccine information must be completed by students living in a residence hall, Bear Creek, Athens Court, Athens North, Marine Court, Newton Court or Smiley Court.
