Ghosts of Boulder Bike Tour

5-6:30 p.m. ​ UMC Bike Station
IN-PERSON: Learn some Boulder history as we ride bikes to some of its creepiest places! Have you heard about the ghost of Cockerell Hall or the spirits that wander the Boulderado Hotel? We’ll have bike lights to give out to attendees. Dress warm and be ready for a chilly and fun evening. Event open to CU students only. Masks must be worn at all times. Six feet distance must be maintained at all times. Riders should be 25 feet apart while riding. Register on Eventbrite - FREE!

Haunted Boulder Walking Tour

5:30-7 p.m. and 8-9:30 p.m. ​ Tour starts at Macky Auditorium
IN-PERSON: Join Banjo Billy’s for a a ghost stories walking tour from Macky to Pearl Street. Each tour is two hours in duration and includes 2.5 miles of easy walking. Each tour is limited to 10 students, and you must show your valid Buff OneCard to participate. Face coverings must be worn for the full duration of the tour. To reserve your spot:

  1. Go to www.banjobilly.com and click the “Buy Tickets” link at the top of the page.
  2. Select October 29 on the calendar.
  3. Click on “Tickets available.”
  4. Order one ticket. The price will say $35 but your ticket will be free.
  5. At the bottom of the page, click “Apply promo or voucher.” Enter CUGHOST20 then click “Apply.”
  6. Complete the ticketing process on the next page.

Night-time Walking Escorts and Golf Cart Rides

Looking for a safe alternative to walking alone after dark? Give CU NightRide a try! This student-operated program provides a FREE night-time service for CU students, faculty and staff. Are you repurposing materials or old clothing for a costume? Taking sustainable transportation to a haunted house? Maybe you’ll ride a bike in costume or find an amazing Halloween-themed front yard or porch on a walk. Tag @ecentercu or use #cuhalloween2020 in your Halloween photos for a chance to win a Nightrider 650 Lumina/Sabre bike light set and other great prizes! Photos will be accepted through Sunday, Nov. 1, and winners will be announced on Monday, Nov. 2. Contest open to all current CU students.
