University of Colorado Boulder’s Mentorship Badge aims to help students improve communication and interpersonal skills, gain leadership and organizational qualities, increase confidence and motivation, practice networking skills and provide resources and support for other graduate students.
Students receiving a Mentorship Badge will be required to do all four of the following:
- Participate in an official campus mentorship program or participate in a community mentorship program.
- Provide proof/documentation that you have met or communicated with your mentee a minimum of six times per academic year.
- Participate in the Graduate School’s social media mentor/mentee three question interview series.
- Draft a mock diversity and inclusion statement focusing on your role as a mentor to be used at job interviews and job applications.
I've completed all of the requirements. Now what?
Fill out the application to get your badge. The Graduate Program Manager will then reach out to you to confirm completion of and review the above requirements.
