If you want to explore a program before applying for formal admission, complete a course for professional development, or simply take courses for personal growth our nondegree admission option may be right for you. You can take a maximum of nine (9) credits, approximately three (3) courses, and then transfer those courses into a degree program if you decide to pursue a master's degree.

First time taking classes at the University of Colorado Boulder and not admitted into a degree program:

Step 1: Submit nondegree application

New nondegree-seeking students must complete the Continuing Education nondegree enrollment application.

Step 2: Activate your account

Continuing Education will send you an enrollment confirmation email with instructions on how to activate your CU Boulder accounts (Identikey and @colorado.edu email).

Step 3: Enroll for class in MyCUInfo

MyCUInfo is the online campus portal and an important tool. It gives you access to course enrollment, your CU student email account, semester schedule, tuition bill, book lists, your final grades and more. You’ll need to use your Identikey to access MyCUInfo.
