Education.
Went to undergrad at CU Boulder and double majored in Humanities and Dance.

Most Interesting Travels

I’ve lived all over the world—from the bustling neon lights of Tokyo to the Arctic tundra of Norway.  Favorite place to go regularly is the Greek island of Paros, because the Aegean Sea is gorgeous for swimming and I have good friends there.  Most interesting place I’ve gone is Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.  I worked with members of the African Union headquarters there.  It was mind-blowingly timeless, ancient and gentle.  Like stepping back into Biblical times, with ladies wrapped in white scarves, bridal parties draped in gold, and goats tied up outside our classroom.

Extracurricular Activities
In my free time, I like to dance (ballet, Latin ballroom), bake and sing (jazz, musical theater).

Current Research
I’m currently researching single mothers around the world: the role of identity, language, traditions and history in framing the experience globally within various cultural contexts.  Also, issues of diversity and leadership within the workplace, specifically how gender, policy and management are connected in organizations.
