Research
I am utilizing Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Precise Point Positioning (PPP) of ships to detect tsunamis, tides, and anomalies in sea surface elevation. I have examined geoidal variations and orthometric height along ship paths, implemented numerical models in D-Claw to simulate landslide-induced tsunamis, and leveraged signal processing techniques to better understand the frequency content of vertical position time series for ships.
