He has just received the John M. Hayes Award from the Organic Geochemistry Division of the Geochemical Society for 2022.
The Hayes Award was established in 2018 to honor a mid-career scientist for outstanding accomplishments under the broad umbrella of
biogeochemistry, including isotope and organic geochemistry, microbial ecology, astrobiology and analytical innovations.
